Work Experience

Our engineers are experienced in both the private and public sectors. Our government experience covers the local, state, and Federal levels in various roles from design to project management. This work included writing regulations, designing roadways, creating maps, and providing construction oversight services.

Tellus Engineering is experienced with airport design having worked on several projects that included pavement and roadway design, runway design, parking areas, detention/retention pond design, final grading and drainage plans, site planning and design for pedestrian walkways, and traffic control.

Holding professional licenses in erosion and sediment control, we are very familiar with the devices used to slow and stop erosion on construction sites. We are experienced in planning erosion control techniques and also preparing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans.

Roadway widening projects, new road design, or interchanges are transportation projects we are intimately familiar with. Our transportation experience includes residential roads to two-lane arterials to 5-lane highways.

Our team of engineers are familiar with the certification process for The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™. We are currently pursuing LEED accreditation. We are proud to have worked on projects that were LEED certified.
